Analog modules

Analog input/output modules contain analog inputs/outputs for the automation system. Analog sensors and actuators can be connected to the automation system via these modules.
The use of analog input/output modules provides the user with the following advantages:

• Optimum adaptation:
  using any desired arrangement of modules, the number of inputs/outputs can be matched to the task to be performed. Superfluous investments no longer exist.
• High-performance analog technology:
  A variety of input/output ranges and high resolution permit multitude of analog sensors and actuators to be connected.

• For solving even more complex tasks with analog process signals
• For connecting analog actuators and sensors without additional amplifiers

The analog input/output modules are characterized by the following features:

Compact configuration

The rugged plastic housing contains:

• Labeling strip for insertion in the front connector (supplied; also as a copy template in the manual); cover films can be ordered separately.

Simple assembly

The modules are mounted in the rack and screwed tight.

User-friendly wiring

The modules are wired by means of a plug-in front connector. When the connector is plugged in for the first time, a coding element engages so that the connector can only be plugged into modules with the same voltage range.

When the module is replaced, the front connector can be used in its fully wired state for the new module of the same type.
